Do you have any tips about what drawings make the best Doodles?
Your Doodle Buddies will look like the drawing that you submit. We don't guarantee that the colors will be exactly the same as on the original, but they will be very close if not identical. High resolution images of colorful characters on white backgrounds work best, but we can work with whatever you have. If the character has very narrow arms, legs or other appendages, we will make those parts a bit wider so that the toy can be stuffed.
How can I specify which part of a drawing I want made into a Doodle Buddies?
If there is more than one character on the page, just let us know which one you want us to make into a Doodle Buddies (for example, "the starfish on the left" if the picture has two starfish). There is a comment section on the ordering page where you can do this. If there is more than one character on the page, and if you don’t specify one character, we will assume that you want the entire picture made into a Doodle Buddies.
Can you change the background color or remove lines from lined paper?
Sure! You can enter special requests in the comment section on the ordering page.
How do I get my artwork to you?
Simply scan your artwork to a JPG file. After you place your order, you'll see a page that thanks you for your order and asks you to upload your file.
What if I don’t have a way to scan my artwork?
You can email or send it to us, and we take good care of it and return it with the Doodle Buddies. Please include a note with your name and order number, and do not sign the back of the picture because it may show through the front of the drawing. After you place your order, we will give you our address, which you can also find on our contact page.
How big will my Doodle Buddy be?
A Doodle Buddies is about 12" long or wide, and 3" thick. Since Doodle Buddies are made in the shape of the character that a child draws, they are of irregular shape and size.
What are Doodle Buddies made of?
The artwork is digitally printed on soft cotton. The printing does not change the nice feel of the fabric. Doodle Buddies are backed with incredibly soft and furry fleece, and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.
Can I wash my Doodle Buddies?
We recommend that you spot clean your Doodle Buddies with warm water and mild soap, and air dry. The fabric is colorfast and will not run or smudge, but machine washing and drying may cause the stuffing to shift.

On your gift certificate is a unique coupon code that you can enter during the ordering process. The gift certificate includes one Doodle Buddies and shipping within the United States. The only charge is 8.25% sales tax for Doodle Buddies delivered to New York.
Ordering and Shipping
How long will it take to get my Doodle Buddies? Every Doodle Buddies is custom made by hand. We ask that you allow three weeks plus a few days shipping time but we will make it faster if at all possible. Please allow extra time for holiday gifts as we cannot guarantee processing and shipping times.
How are Doodle Buddies shipped?
We ship via US Postal Service to anywhere in the United States.
How can I find out if my Doodle Buddies has shipped? We will email you when your Doodle Buddies is shipped. Please contact us if you are concerned about your shipment and we will let you know where it stands.
